This course is an introduction to texture. You will learn the principle of textures and how to use them applied to fashion design industry.
You will start to create you own texture library.
It will take place in a series of 4 workshops to allow you to understand well the principle, to practice and to end with a coherent project around this topic.
Week 1: We will see how to explore texture.
Week 2: We will start to develop a theme and doing some researches around this theme.
Week 3: We will start to develop a texture library around our research.
Week 4: We will finish and present our texture library.
What to bring: sketchbook, pen, rubber, your laptop with Photoshop, fabric swatches of you choice and your creativity & enthusiasm!
